ELKHORN May Wine Club Tasting Day 1

Join us in Elkhorn as we sample the first half of our Wine Club for May. Beautiful wines from Goldschmidt, Materra, and Trujillo in California and Francois Lurton across the Atlantic in France.

Bottles include:

• Goldschmidt Katherine Cabernet Sauvignon – This Alexander Valley Cab shows vibrant notes of red fruit and a hint of French vanilla oak. Bright, supple, and very well structured.
• Trujillo Madelyn White Blend – At 61% Sauv Blanc and 39% Gewurztraminer grapes, this tantalizing white blend presents honey, grapefruit, melon, and star fruit, tied together with a lively acidity to keep you coming back for more.
• Goldschmidt Singing Tree Chardonnay – This Russian River Valley Chard has notes of honeysuckle, citrus, almond, and nectarine and a clean, mineral driven finish.
• Materra Oak Knoll Estate Chardonnay – Exceptional Napa Valley Chardonnay with white peach, lychee, tangerine, jasmine, and a touch of spicy oak. It’s Bright acidity and creamy texture make it very lively and structured.
• Francois Lurton Fumees Blanches – This French Sauv Blanc boasts delicately balanced fruit and acidity reminiscent of the morning mist on lightly settling on the vines.
• Francois Lurton Fumees Blanches Vin Orange – At its base, made the same as the above, but the increased time with the grape skins brings much more orange fruit flavor and rose petal aroma to the forefront.
