ELKHORN May Wine Club Tasting Day 2

Today in Elkhorn, we will be sampling the second half of our May Wine Club offerings, featuring some exceptional wines from both the US and France.

Bottles include:

• Terres Dorees ‘FRV100’ Sparkling Rose – This Sparkling Beaujolais wine is overflowing with playful character with its bubbles, vibrant pink fruit, bright acididty, and touch of sweetness. Perfect for a hot day on the porch or by the pool.
• Chateau Jacquet Bordeaux – A Quartet of Merlot, Cab Sauv, Malbec, and Petite Verdot, with finely oaked and spicy scents. Evolves into cooked red fruits over time.
• Illahe Willamette Valley Pinot Noir – Ripe plum, cherry, and strawberry jam with a host of spice notes such as nutmeg, and cinnamon with a balanced mouth feel and smooth velvety tannins.
• Oak Farm Tievoli Red Blend – A blend of Zinfanel, Petite Sirah, Barbera, and Primativo, this wine creates complex flavors with dark red fruits, vanilla spice, and a smooth, persistent finish.
• Dr. Konstantin Frank Cabernet Franc- From the Finger Lakes of New York, this juicy Cab Franc has spiced black cherry notes that are elevated by earthiness and cedar aromas. Simultaneously powerful and elegant.
• Dr. Konstantin Frank Semi Dry Riesling – An expressive Riesling with apricot, honeydew, and juicy pineapple accented by delicate florality and a subtle mineral edge. Great with spicy dishes and seafood!
