It’s National Malbec Day today!
Malbec originated in the Cahors region of southwest France and played a significant role in the creation of Bordeaux wines. After losing popularity in single-varietal offerings in France, it found a new, extremely welcoming home in Argentina where is has become a national grape variety and a staple in their winemaking industry.
We at THE STILL are excited to promote some of our favorite bottles tonight!
- Tapiz Alta Collection Malbec: Explosively fruity, fresh, and juicy. Flavors of blackberries and spice.
- La Madrid Single Vineyard Malbec: Spicy aromas combined with fresh plums and cherries. Sweet velvety tannins are well balanced with the acidity.
- Loscano ‘The Winemaker’ Malbec: Blackberry, raspberry and a hint of chocolate cedar. Juicy boysenberry and earthiness. Velvety ripe medium-bodied wine.
- Corazon del Sol Malbec: A vibrant wine accented by superfine tannins developed from the solar intensity and cool nights of the Uco Valley.
- Felino Malbec: Notes of black fruit, roses, blueberries. It’s medium-bodied with juicy tannins and a pretty finish.
All of these wines will be available for the free sampling and will all be on sale for the entire day as well!
